ASUS has officially announced laptops M60J and G60J. Productive innovations are built on Intel Calpella mobile platform and will compete with already presented models Toshiba Qosmio X500 and MSI GT740, GT640.
The basis of the new models is the chipset PM55 Express processors and Intel Core i7 720QM (1,6 GHz) or 820QM (1,73 GHz). They can contain up to 4 GB of RAM DDR3 1333 MHz and up to two hard drives of 250, 320 or 500 GB with a spindle speed 5400 or 7200 rpm. Optionally you can replace the optical drive DVD-RW to Blu-ray DVD Combo.
It is worth noting the existence of web-resolution 2-megapixel camera, memory card reader, adapters, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (optional). Notebooks equipped with sockets for expansion cards, ExpressCard, VGA out and HDMI, four connectors USB, FireWire connectors 1394 and eSATA. 6 cell battery provides long battery life.
Multimedia Notebook ASUS M60J weighs 3.3 kg and is equipped with 16-inch widescreen display, 1366 x 768 pixels. Graphic subsystem represented accelerator NVIDIA GeForce GT240M with 1 GB of memory. The notebook M60J technology is used AI TouchMedia, which makes it easy to work with video, photos and music.
Gaming Laptop ASUS G60J belongs to the family of ROG (Republic of Gamers). Its dimensions are 395 x 277 x 44 mm, and weight is 3,5 kg. Notebook is equipped with 16-inch screen 1366 x 768 pixel LED-backlit display and backlit keyboard. G60J model is equipped with a video card GeForce GTX 260M with 1 GB of memory and supports technology Express Gate.
Model M60J and G60J running preinstalled Windows 7 OS Home Premium. The recommended price of manufacturer of notebooks in the basic version of 1449 and 1899 euros, respectively. New items will be available in late October.
