Apple has done a U-turn in many of its recent policies in relation to the development of applications for its iPhone, the iPad and iPod Touch. Originally it had imposed severe restrictions on how developers can create new applications, especially to gain notoriety for banning of Flash. When developers began moving to compete with Android, though, and with the EC probe cards, Apple completed and released its grip.
Another factor in the EC decision to abandon the investigation, Apple has introduced Europe-wide repair service for its equipment as collateral for past policies that differ according to each EU member state. Originally, the Commission initiated an investigation by Apple in early 2010, when he expressed concern over the fact that Apple's warranty service policies limited by country and broke the rules of the EU single market.
In addition, annoyed Apple's restrictive policy towards the development of applications are invited to relax the restrictions. While Apple has now shrugged off the anger of the European Commission was still forced to allow developers to make applications that can run multiple devices, not just for Apple, which would surely be finished in EC wrist shock, if the sensor would go on.
